ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AL) SUPERCOMPUTER.

WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI):

Artificial intelligence is the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.

MY thoughtS on it:

Actually AI is the intelligence which displayed by machine you can say by robots or computer. The concept of AI comes from the Computer science. Nevertheless, it’s difficult to define exactly what is ‘intelligence’ , so defining AI is not an easy thing. Generally speaking, one could say that artificial intelligence is a level of intelligence that humans have insofar not been able to program computers with. AI research itself is based on many other sciences, including computer research, mathematics, psychology, linguistics, philosophy, neuroscience and artificial psychology.

Does it exist?

With all the hype surrounding artificial intelligence, it is easy to forget that true AI doesn’t exist yet. Instead companies are leveraging augmented intelligence. Nowadays AI is the most popular buzzword. But i don’t think so it does exist yet. Some of companies are just leveling this.

Although this is an impressive process, it’s not really artificial intelligence. In fact, to call it AI is a bit like comparing a dinghy to the Titanic. Essentially, machine learning is the first step towards genuine AI when a machine is actually beginning to make decisions for itself

WhaT IS IT CAPABILITY?

Artificial intelligence (AI) makes it possible for machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs and perform human-like tasks. Most AI examples that you hear about today – from chess-playing computers to self-driving cars – rely heavily on deep learning and natural language processing. Using these technologies, computers can be trained to accomplish specific tasks by processing large amounts of data and recognizing patterns in the data.

The technology behind it:

As per as my research i came to know there are 6 main technologies behind AI.

The main categories of these are:

1. Expert system
2. Machine learning
3. Natural language processing
4. Computer vision
5. Automated speech recognition
6. AI Planning

In some ways, expert systems represent more simple AI, with machine learning enabled AI systems represent  more exciting advances in AI technology. 

Machine learning is commonly used to enable other categories of AI, such as Natural Language Processing (meaning of words), computer vision (meaning of images and videos), automated speech recognition (meaning of sounds) and AI Planning (complex action sequences).

The AI landscape can sometimes appear opaque and confusing, one thing is clear, however, we are heading towards a AI-powered future, with bots doing more things in more areas of work and leisure.
